The authors of this study had investigated the 54 monitored pregnancies in 51 patients at 13 international MRgFUS centers after treatment (clinical studies with completed family planning, MRgFUS fertility study, commercial treatments). At the time of publication 41 percent of the pregnancies had resulted in live births and 20 percent were still in ongoing pregnancy. The abortion rate stood at 26 percent. In 13 percent there was an elective termination of pregnancy. Of note was the vaginal delivery rate, at 64 percent, with all children having a normal birth rate. 93 percent of births occurred at the calculated due date.
