Welcome to our FUS-Center, the center for painless uterine fibroids therapy with Focused UltraSound (FUS). We are pleased to be one of the first providers in Germany to offer the MRgFUS treatment at the hospital in Dachau. Thus, women with fibroid symptoms will also have access to this innovative treatment in the southern area of Germany.
These information pages explain what fibroids are, how they can affect women’s health, what the options are for treatment, and how the new technology called MR guided Focused UltraSound (MRgFUS) can help some patients. MRgFUS is almost painless, does not require a surgical operation, and can be done on an outpatient basis so no overnight hospital stay is necessary. |
